The Kheystone Crew Credence

We support our fellow riders. We strive to be a positive influence for one another and we cheer each other on.

What’s Offered: Kheystone Training offers lessons and instruction in disciplines from dressage and show jumping to trail riding and eventing (and more!). From the show ring to leisurely hacks through thousands of acres of regional parkland, prioritizing rider and horse safety means that everyone has positive and memorable experiences, whatever their discipline. For those looking to compete, Vijoa thoroughly coaches and preps clients for challenges in the show ring. She doesn’t just teach people; one of Vijoa’s passions is training and rehabbing “problem” horses.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Kheystone Training believes that the key to good horsemanship is to deepen and improve communication between rider and horse.

Helping people get the most out of their riding experience through horse and rider training is what drives Kheystone’s mission. Vijoa’s approach focuses on balance, straightness, and self-carriage. She knows that happy, healthy horses, and riders, create fun educational experiences.

The program prioritizes real horsemanship skills to develop an all-round solid equestrian. Kheystone stresses the importance of learning to be calm, focused, and assertive with our equine partners. Lessons are tailored to fit the student’s comfort level, and to keep short- and long-term goals in focus.

Not once has Vijoa batted a single eyelash at my adult ammy goals. When we first met, I wanted to jump, so we jumped. A year later, I decided to buy my own horse, so Vijoa helped me find an eventer beyond my wildest dreams, Blaze of Light (Salter). A year after that, we started showing for the first time together.

Dream after dream has come true through hard work and Vijoa’s endless support and belief in us both. Whatever Salter and I do next, I know that Kheystone will be with us every step of the way. — Aja Aguirre, Horse Owner/Boarder, ACEC
